The test phase for VSC-2 ends this Sunday, 1.1.2012. We therefore kindly ask you to finish all calculations until Sunday evening and/or terminate unfinished jobs.

For the regular user operation which will start on Monday, 2.1.2012, many projects have already been requested. The managers of projects that have been approved by the steering committee will be able to either create new user accounts for VSC-2, or they can simply assign existing user accounts to VSC-2 by selecting the corresponding check box ("edit this account").
Informational emails about already approved projects will be sent starting from today.

Please inform us, by sending an email to vsc@tuwien.ac.at, about which test project(s) on VSC-2 correspond to your regular project(s) so that - if required - we can migrate your data to your new project volume.

Since some hardware maintenance has to be performed, the user operation is scheduled to start in the afternoon of Monday 2.1.2012.
